Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery Pre-Op

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize professional nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Provide pre-operative assessment and care for patients in an outpatient surgery setting.
3. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Monitor vital signs and other patient health parameters.
6. Ensure patients and their families understand all pre-operative procedures and post-operative instructions.
7. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
9. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
10. Participate in quality improvement activities.
