Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU, you will be responsible for providing quality, patient-centered care that is deeply rooted in evidence-based practice and current clinical guidelines. You will be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team that is committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients and their families.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Neuro ICU setting, and be passionate about delivering quality, compassionate care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and has strong organizational and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide quality, patient-centered care that is rooted in evidence-based practice and current clinical guidelines
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain the mission and vision of MedStar Health
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills
• Monitor patient’s vital signs and health condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient’s health information and vital signs
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss patient care and strategies for improvement
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and management
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
