Registered Nurse Operating Room

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Operating Room to join MedStar Health’s team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing quality patient care to patients in the operating room. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical and communication skills, as well as a passion for providing the highest level of care in the operating room setting. To be successful in this role, you should have a current Registered Nurse license and at least two years of experience in a related field. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care and support in the operating room setting.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient assessments.
4. Monitor and assess patient’s progress and modify care plans accordingly.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
6. Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient preparation and recovery.
7. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical procedure.
8. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
10. Utilize equipment and techniques to maximize the safety and comfort of patients.
