Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Responsibilities:

1. Administer patient care according to procedures and standards established by MedStar Health.
2. Assess patients’ health condition and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
3. Perform endoscopy procedures in accordance with established protocols.
4. Monitor patient progress throughout endoscopy procedures and document changes in the patient’s condition.
5. Educate patients and their families on endoscopy procedures and post-procedure care.
6. Provide support to physicians and other medical staff during endoscopy procedures.
7. Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety protocols and standards.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible patient care.
10. Act as a patient advocate and provide emotional support for patients and their families.
