  1. Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Provide evidence-based therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to assist patients in managing their mental health concerns.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on coping strategies, self-care techniques, and available resources.
  7. Stay informed on new research and developments in the field of psychology and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions.
  9. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and coordinate services.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive treatment environment.
  11. Collaborate with insurance companies and billing departments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance standards and quality measures set by MedStar Health.
  13. Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.
  14. Uphold and promote the mission and values of MedStar Health in all interactions.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing MedStar Health in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychology Or Related Field, With A Specialization In Psychotherapy.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Providing Psychotherapy To Individuals, Couples, And/Or Groups.

  • Licensure As A Psychotherapist In The State Of Employment.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Evidence-Based Practices Such As Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Or Psychodynamic Therapy.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Maintain Appropriate Boundaries With Clients.
