Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Ortho

MedStar Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Outpatient Orthopedic team. This position requires a unique combination of clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients. As a PT at MedStar Health, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals while providing personalized attention to each patient. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting, a valid license in Physical Therapy, and an active BLS certification. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Finally, we prefer a candidate with experience in orthopedic or sports medicine.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document all information in patient records.
2. Educate and counsel patients and families on injury prevention, safety, and rehabilitation techniques.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
4. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
5. Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as appropriate.
6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
7. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of care.
8. Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in physical therapy.
