
Perinatal Care Coordinator - Behavioral Health
MedStar Health is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Perinatal Care Coordinator - Behavioral Health to join our team and provide outstanding care to patients and families. This position will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, personalized care for individuals and families throughout the perinatal period. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in the perinatal and/or behavioral health field and be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This position requires compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, personalized care to individuals and families throughout the perinatal period.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high quality care.
- Educate patients and families on perinatal health and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients and families.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Advocate on behalf of patients and families to ensure their needs are met.
- Maintain current knowledge of medical advances and treatments related to perinatal care.
- Utilize appropriate resources to facilitate patient care.
- Remain up-to-date on laws and regulations related to perinatal care and behavioral health.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Comply with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Social Work Or Related Field
Licensed As A Registered Nurse Or Other Applicable License In The State Of Practice
At Least Years Of Clinical Experience Working In A Perinatal Setting
Knowledge Of Principles Of Mental Health And Substance Abuse
Knowledge Of Local
State And Federal Regulations Related To Behavioral Health Services
