The Patient Care Tech Rehab will provide assistance to patients in the rehab department and will be responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the successful daily operations of the rehab department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a positive attitude. It is essential that the Patient Care Tech Rehab is organized, can work independently as well as part of a team, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and computer literacy are also essential. Responsibilities:

1. Assist patients in the rehab department with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, activities of daily living, therapeutic exercises, vital signs, and other patient care activities.
2. Follow all department policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.
3. Ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care by providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
4. Maintain a clean and safe treatment area.
5. Communicate with patients and families in a professional and respectful manner.
6. Document patient care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
7. Maintain accurate records of patient care activities.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
9. Participate in departmental meetings and educational activities.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
