Orthopedic Surgeon

MedStar Health is looking for a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team and provide the highest quality of orthopedic care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible surgeon with a strong background in orthopedic surgery, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Our Orthopedic Surgeon will have an appreciation of the importance of treating each patient with respect, compassion, and dignity.We expect our Orthopedic Surgeon to have a MD or DO degree, a valid state medical license, and board certification in orthopedic surgery. Experience with a wide range of orthopedic procedures is preferred, and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong sense of team spirit, and excellent communication skills. Our Orthopedic Surgeon should have an understanding of the latest advances in the field and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the medical team.

Responsibilities of an Orthopedic Surgeon:

1. Perform various orthopedic surgical procedures as needed to treat patients.
2. Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care.
3. Communicate with other members of the medical team to ensure best treatment outcomes.
4. Educate patients on preventive care and rehabilitation techniques.
5. Maintain patient records and document all treatments provided.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advances in orthopedic surgery.
7. Ensure that all medical procedures are performed in compliance with state and federal regulations.
8. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to all patients.
9. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
