Job Description

MedStar Health is seeking an outgoing and organized OR Case Cart Technician to join our team! This position will require a great deal of coordination and communication between the OR staff and the Supply Chain Department, and the ideal candidate will be up to the challenge and able to build strong relationships with our team members.The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting or related field. They must also have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. It is also essential that the candidate is customer-oriented and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and communicate between OR staff and Supply Chain Department to ensure effective workflow.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory of OR supplies and ensure timely replenishment as needed.
  4. Assist OR staff with proper handling, transport, storage, and cleaning of medical equipment and supplies.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment and supplies.
  6. Utilize problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
  7. Document and track supply orders and shipments.
  8. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain clean and orderly areas in the OR and supply chain departments.
  10. Assist in other tasks as assigned.
