
Ophthalmic Technician
At MedStar Health, we are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Ophthalmic Technician to join our team and provide quality care to our patients. We are a comprehensive healthcare system located in the Baltimore/Washington region, and we strive to provide our communities with the highest quality of care.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of two years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician, preferably in a clinical setting. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when performing ophthalmic tests.
- Maintain patient records and provide documentation as needed.
- Educate patients on ophthalmic care procedures and safety protocols.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Assure the availability of supplies and equipment needed for ophthalmic tests.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with patients and staff.
- Work closely with ophthalmologists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist with other duties as necessary.
Excellent Visual Acuity
