Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and organized Operative Scheduling Representative to join our team at MedStar Health. The ideal candidate for this role is a patient-focused individual who is proficient in appointment scheduling and can provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Operative Scheduling Representative should have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.To be successful as an Operative Scheduling Representative, you should be able to quickly build rapport with patients and understand their needs. You should also have a positive attitude and be able to work efficiently and effectively with a wide range of people. Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule appointments for patients while providing excellent customer service.
  2. Ensure accuracy of patient information, including scheduling and contact information.
  3. Utilize a customer-focused approach when interacting with patients.
  4. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures when scheduling appointments.
  5. Ensure that all appointments are scheduled in a timely manner.
  6. Answer incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.
  7. Document and maintain accurate records of patient appointments.
  8. Maintain a positive attitude and work efficiently with a wide range of people.
  9. Keep up to date with MedStar Health's new policies and procedures.
  10. Assist with any other operational duties as required.
