- Oversee and manage all aspects of research compliance within MedStar Health's Office of Research Integrity.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote ethical conduct of research.
- Educate and train researchers and staff on compliance regulations and best practices.
- Serve as a resource for researchers and staff regarding compliance questions and concerns.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Investigate and resolve any reported cases of non-compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and reporting of research activities.
- Stay up-to-date on current compliance regulations and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures as needed.
- Communicate and coordinate with external regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
- Assist with the development and delivery of compliance training programs.
- Provide support and guidance to the research community in navigating ethical dilemmas.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of compliance activities to senior management.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all research activities at MedStar Health.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Science.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Research Administration Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Regulations And Policies Related To Research Integrity, Including But Not Limited To Ohrp, Fda, And Hipaa.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Researchers, Compliance Officers, And Regulatory Agencies.
