Job Description

At MedStar Health, we are committed to providing superior care and service to our patients. We are looking for a Nurse Navigator who is passionate about providing quality healthcare and assistance to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills and be able to provide personalized guidance to our patients.The Nurse Navigator will provide patients with tailored support to ensure they receive the most effective care possible. This includes coordinating care, providing education and resources, and assisting patients to navigate the healthcare system. The Nurse Navigator will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.The successful candidate will have a Registered Nurse license and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, as well as at least two years of clinical nursing experience. In addition, the Nurse Navigator must have excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a strong commitment to providing compassionate patient care.If you are an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing quality healthcare and assistance to our patients, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities of the Nurse Navigator:

  1. Provide tailored support to ensure patients receive the most effective care possible.
  2. Coordinate care, provide education and resources, and assist patients to navigate the healthcare system.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  4. Maintain a Registered Nurse license and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans when necessary.
  7. Understand and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest medical treatments available.
  9. Stay current with relevant healthcare trends and best practices.
  10. Document patient care and progress in electronic health records.
