
Nurse Manager Occupational Health Clinical Ops
MedStar Health is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Nurse Manager to lead our Occupational Health Clinical Operations. This dynamic role requires an individual who is passionate about patient care and quality, has a strong clinical background, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of clinical and operational expertise to the organization. They will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team of healthcare professionals, meeting financial goals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The Nurse Manager must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner License and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field. At least five years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, as well as a current Occupational Health Nurse Certification is required. A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving aptitude, and an ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands. They must be able to work collaboratively with other health care professionals, and have a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures for Occupational Health Clinical Operations.
- Manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.
- Maintain a current and valid Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner License and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Monitor and ensure financial goals are met.
- Remain up-to-date on latest industry developments, trends, and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent care and service.
- Maintain a current Occupational Health Nurse Certification.
