Material Handler

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Material Handler to join the Materials Management team at MedStar Health. This individual will be responsible for receiving and distributing medical supplies and equipment to our medical staff and facilities. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Receive and inspect medical supplies and equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
2. Distribute medical supplies and equipment to medical staff and facilities in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Maintain accurate records of all materials received and distributed.
4. Create and update inventory management system to ensure accuracy and efficient tracking of materials.
5. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to replenish inventory.
6. Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
7. Provide excellent customer service to staff and facilities.
8. Follow safety procedures to ensure safe handling of materials.
9. Troubleshoot any issues related to materials management.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
