Manager - Supply Chain Operations

MedStar Health is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and experienced Manager of Supply Chain Operations to join our team. The successful candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, be able to effectively manage and motivate a team, and have a proven track record of successful supply chain operations. To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience in the field. Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role is required. We are looking for an individual who will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that our supply chain operations are efficient and cost effective. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient and cost effective supply chain operations.
2. Manage and motivate a team of supply chain professionals.
3. Provide strategic direction and operational support to the team.
4. Monitor and analyze supply chain operations performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures.
5. Develop and implement plans to meet customer service goals.
6. Analyze supply chain data and identify trends and areas that need improvement.
7. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality products and services.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Monitor budget expenses and ensure costs are kept within allocated limits.
