Maintenance Supervisor

MedStar Health is looking for an experienced, reliable Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and ensure our facilities are well maintained and operational. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, and will be able to think on their feet and work independently.The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and overseeing the completion of all work. They will also be responsible for monitoring the condition of the facility and responding to any issues in a timely manner.To be successful in this role, the candidate should have strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as a passion for providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor: • Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and ensuring completion of all work. • Monitor the condition of the facility and respond to any issues in a timely manner. • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions. • Train and supervise maintenance personnel. • Ensure safety protocols are followed and all necessary safety equipment is available. • Manage inventories and inventory control systems. • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans. • Oversee the ordering of supplies and parts. • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment. • Maintain records and logs of all maintenance activities. • Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment. • Liaise with contractors and vendors.
