1. Provide expert wound care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
2. Assess and monitor patient wounds, including documenting progress and any changes.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention methods.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Monitor and maintain inventory of wound care supplies.
8. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
