Language Interpreter

At MedStar Health, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Language Interpreter to join our passionate team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation of verbal and written communication between patients, families, and clinicians. Successful candidates for this role must have excellent language skills in both English and the target language, as well as the ability to maintain cultural sensitivity and remain neutral during interpretation. Responsibilities:

1. Interpret verbal and written communication between patients, families, and clinicians accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Maintain cultural sensitivity and remain neutral during interpretation.
3. Possess excellent language skills in both English and the target language.
4. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure clarity of messages.
5. Provide support and assistance to patients, families, and clinicians.
6. Ensure confidentiality of patient and family information.
7. Remain up to date on medical terminology and regulations.
8. Assist with other language services as needed.
