Inpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse

The Inpatient Wound Care RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound care to patients in the inpatient setting.This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university, an active Registered Nurse license, and at least two years of experience in inpatient wound care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive wound care to inpatients in accordance with medical standards and best practices.
2. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as directed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on wound care and proper wound healing techniques.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Document patient progress, treatments, and medications in patient records.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
8. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in wound care.
9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Utilize appropriate resources to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
