Infection Preventionist
MedStar Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Infection Preventionist to join our quality care team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the infection prevention and control program, providing consultation and guidance to the infection prevention team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in nursing or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in infection prevention and control. You should also have current certification in Infection Prevention and Control. Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the infection prevention and control program.
- Provide consultation and guidance to the infection prevention team.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
- Collaborate with team members on quality care initiatives.
- Maintain current certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on infection prevention and control activities.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
- Monitor emerging infections and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor and evaluate infection prevention and control outcomes.
- Educate healthcare personnel on infection prevention and control measures.
) Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare
Epidemiology
Biological Sciences
Or A Related Field
) Minimum Of Three Years Of Experience In Infection Prevention Or Infection Control
) National Certification In Infection Control (Cic) Or Willing To Obtain
) Knowledge Of Laws And Regulations Related To Infection Prevention
