1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and requests for assistance.
3. Educate patients about MedStar Health services and assist them in navigating the healthcare system.
4. Schedule appointments and follow-up appointments for patients based on their healthcare needs.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient delivery of care to patients.
6. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance authorizations as needed.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
8. Advocate for patients and address any concerns or issues they may have during their healthcare experience.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times.
10. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on healthcare processes and procedures.
11. Handle patient complaints and escalate to the appropriate department if necessary.
12. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance services.
