Emergency Department PRN Nurse

As a PRN Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts and provide quality care to our community. The ideal candidate for this position should be knowledgeable in nursing fundamentals and possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. You should be able to remain calm and composed in emergency situations, have the ability to multitask, and be willing to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with an active license and at least 1 year of Emergency Department experience. Preference will be given to those who have current certifications in ACLS and PALS. BLS certification is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care in the Emergency Department in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
3. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
4. Provide clear and concise instructions to other healthcare professionals.
5. Monitor and document patient health and progress.
6. Remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing fundamentals.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and health regulations.
9. Maintain an active license and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals on shift.
