Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer

MedStar Health is looking for a highly dedicated and experienced Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. Ideal candidates are passionate about providing exceptional care and have excellent interpersonal skills. We require a minimum of two years of experience as an Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer and certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Adult Echocardiography. This position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. We are seeking an Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer who is passionate about helping others and is devoted to providing the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

-Perform echocardiogram tests and interpret results

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide patient centered care -Provide patient education and instruction on the procedure -Maintain accurate patient records -Keep up to date with the latest advances in the field -Communicate test results to physicians -Maintain a safe and clean working environment -Comply with all applicable laws and regulations -Follow safety protocols and guidelines -Maintain certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Adult Echocardiography
