Data Analyst Risk Manager

Performs clinical and operational data analysis (staffing levels, clinical utilization, volume analysis, cost analysis) with outputs that are clear and relevant to the users. Designs analysis methodology and tailors data outputs based on customer needs and understanding. Validates and interprets data results, either independently or with assistance. Makes recommendations to management. Assists Risk and Insurance Manager with physician/hospital PL insurance coverage for GFIL program. Includes assistance with database management of physician coverage, physician underwriting and review of contracts to verify coverage. Learns and understands appropriate MedStar and external data sources and their underlying systems in a manner which enables meaningful and accurate analysis work.
