- Develop and implement community health programs to address the specific health needs of the local community.
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to ensure that programs are effectively reaching and engaging diverse populations.
- Conduct needs assessments and research to identify key health issues and trends in the community.
- Create and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders to promote health equity and improve health outcomes.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of program logistics, including scheduling, budget management, and evaluation.
- Develop and distribute educational materials and resources to promote health and wellness in the community.
- Lead and facilitate community outreach events and activities to increase awareness of health programs and services.
- Serve as a liaison between MedStar Health and the community, cultivating positive relationships and representing the organization's mission and values.
- Monitor program outcomes and make adjustments as needed to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain accurate program records and reports for evaluation and compliance purposes.
- Stay up-to-date on current public health policies, trends, and best practices to inform program development and implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to program staff and volunteers, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team environment.
- Communicate program updates and progress to relevant stakeholders, including management, funders, and community partners.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and requirements in program operations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in program design and implementation to better serve the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Program Coordination Or Management, Preferably In A Community Health Setting.
Knowledge Of Community Health Principles And Practices, Including Health Education, Disease Prevention, And Health Promotion.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Community Partners.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Plan, Implement, And Evaluate Community Health Programs And Initiatives.
