
Clinical Supervisor/Athletic Trainer
MedStar Health is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor/Athletic Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude and have the desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful applicant should be an individual who is highly motivated, organized, and committed to providing superior support, education, and care to our patients.The Clinical Supervisor/Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical and administrative oversight of all Sports Medicine and Athletic Training services within the organization. This position requires exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills in order to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care. The successful candidate will be organized, patient-oriented, and have a desire to work collaboratively with other team members.The required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field; current certification/licensure in Athletic Training; National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) certification; and minimum of three years of experience in the field of Athletic Training. Knowledge of clinical operations, patient safety, and health care trends is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive clinical and administrative oversight of all Sports Medicine and Athletic Training services within the organization • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate the desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment • Utilize excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills in order to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality care • Remain organized, patient-oriented, and have a desire to work collaboratively with other team members • Provide education and support to patients regarding their injury and treatment plan • Ensure that all Athletic Training services are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards • Monitor clinical operations, patient safety, and health care trends to ensure best practices and quality of care • Maintain current certification/licensure in Athletic Training and National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) certification
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
