Job Description

The Clinical Quality Manager at MedStar Health is a key role in driving quality improvements and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a highly organized self-starter, with a passion for ensuring the highest standards of care. This position requires a proactive leader, with expertise in clinical quality assurance and the ability to develop a comprehensive quality program. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field, with at least five years of relevant clinical quality assurance experience. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations is essential, as is the ability to analyze data and lead initiatives to address areas of improvement. Experience with electronic medical records and an understanding of accreditation standards are highly desirable. We are looking for a proactive leader who is motivated by the challenge of developing and implementing clinical quality programs, and who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive quality program to ensure compliance with clinical standards and drive quality improvements.
  2. Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and lead initiatives to address them.
  3. Monitor Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations to ensure compliance.
  4. Manage electronic medical records and maintain an understanding of accreditation standards.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of care.
  6. Communicate effectively and provide exceptional interpersonal skills.
  7. Facilitate organizational goals to ensure the successful implementation of quality programs.
