Clinic Coordinator (PT)- Outpatient Physical Therapist

At MedStar Health, we are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team as Clinic Coordinator (PT). As Clinic Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing quality physical therapy services to our patients in an outpatient setting, while managing all aspects of the clinic.The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience to hit the ground running and provide exemplary patient care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about physical therapy and who can bring a positive, personable attitude to our clinic.Qualifications for this position include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, a current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Maryland, and a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting. Responsibilites:

1. Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy.
2. Provide direct care to patients, including the evaluation of physical impairments, the establishment of a physical therapy diagnosis, and the development of a plan of care to meet the patient’s needs.
3. Manage all aspects of the clinic, including scheduling patient appointments, maintaining patient records and other administrative tasks.
4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to all patients.
5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
6. Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient.
7. Stay current on all state regulations and policies related to physical therapy practice.
8. Assist in the training and education of physical therapy students and newly hired physical therapists.
