- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients by assisting them with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including infection control measures.
- Assist with transporting patients to various areas of the facility, such as testing or therapy appointments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Follow all policies and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of care.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Display a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while representing MedStar Health.
Completion Of An Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program And Current Cna Certification.
At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.
Basic Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Patient Care Techniques, And Infection Control Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Healthcare Team.
Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Patients, As Well As Stand For Long Periods Of Time.
