Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care and support in accordance with MedStar Health's policies and procedures.
2. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
3. Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
4. Assist in the administration of treatments and medications as prescribed, and ensure that any changes in patient condition are documented and reported to the appropriate healthcare provider.
5. Document patient care activities in the medical record and ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
7. Assist in the preparation of patient rooms and ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
8. Participate in patient education and discharge planning activities.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
10. Serve as a role model for other team members and provide guidance and support to new staff members.
