
Cardiovascular or Health Psychologist
As a Cardiovascular or Health Psychologist at MedStar Health, you will be an integral part of our team, helping to deliver top-notch service to our patients. You will be responsible for working with our organization to provide psychological support and services to individuals with cardiovascular and/or health-related issues. We are looking for a compassionate individual with a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing quality healthcare services.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university, experience working in a healthcare setting, advanced knowledge of cardiovascular and/or health psychology, and be licensed in the state of Maryland. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care and support to our patients. In addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you should have a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and demonstrated experience in evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies.
