
Biostatistician
The Biostatistician is responsible for supporting the Interventional Cardiology Fellows throughout their research year with training in statistical methodologies and analysis. This includes, but not limited to study design, statistical tests, regression analyses, model adequacy and accuracy, and reporting for such research projects. Attend meetings of clinical investigators, Data and Safety Monitoring Committees, and other regulatory meetings to provide statisical methodology. Authors the statistical sections of the scientific manuscripts and abstracts. Contribute to efficient, sound strategic and scientific study design, prepare statistical analysis plan, and provide input into other protocol sections. Give lectures on study design and basic statistics. Participate in development and submission of grant and contract proposals.
3 years of experience as a statistician supporting multicenter clinical trials and/or epidemiological studies.
MS or MPH in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or another public health discipline or equivalent.
