- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of patients.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the individual needs of each patient.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of mental health issues.
- Monitor and track progress of patients throughout the course of treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support to patients in acute distress.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job duties.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of current research and best practices in the field.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient privacy at all times.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families in the healthcare system.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend team meetings and participate in case consultations.
- Adhere to all MedStar Health policies and procedures.
Master's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work From An Accredited University.
Current Licensure As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Lcp) In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Individual And Group Therapy In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Treatment Modalities For Various Mental Health Disorders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Therapeutic Relationships With Clients.
