  1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in accordance with MedStar Health's standards and values.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop appropriate interventions.
  4. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to address a wide range of behavioral health concerns.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  6. Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
  7. Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and available resources.
  8. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of behavioral health services.
  10. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to improve skills and stay current on best practices.
  11. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to promote the well-being of the community.
  12. Comply with all MedStar Health policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  14. Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
  15. Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Institution.

  • Licensure As A Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (Lcswc) In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Providing Behavioral Health Services In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In Behavioral Health Treatment.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams And Provide Culturally Competent Care To Diverse Patient Populations.
