Anesthesia Technician

1. Provide support to anesthesiologists by setting up and assisting with anesthesia equipment and supplies before and during procedures.
2. Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order and well-stocked.
3. Prepare patients for anesthesia, including positioning and securing them on the operating table, and taking vital signs.
4. Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
5. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the anesthesiologist.
6. Administer medication and fluids under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
7. Ensure a safe and sterile environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
8. Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of patient care.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
10. Participate in training and educational opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in anesthesia technology.
11. Keep up-to-date with current anesthesia technology, techniques, and equipment.
12. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
