- Provide support to anesthesiologists by setting up and assisting with anesthesia equipment and supplies before and during procedures.
- Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order and well-stocked.
- Prepare patients for anesthesia, including positioning and securing them on the operating table, and taking vital signs.
- Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the anesthesiologist.
- Administer medication and fluids under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in anesthesia technology.
- Keep up-to-date with current anesthesia technology, techniques, and equipment.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Certification In Anesthesia Technology: Applicants Should Possess A Valid Certification In Anesthesia Technology From An Accredited Organization, Such As The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Anesthesia Procedures, Including Proper Equipment Set-Up, Monitoring, And Troubleshooting.
Experience In A Hospital Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Safety Protocols, And Patient Care.
Attention To Detail: Anesthesia Technicians Must Have A Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Record-Keeping, Medication Administration, And Patient Safety.
