  1. Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of safe and effective anesthesia to patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and assist in the management of anesthesia during procedures.
  4. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of anesthesia procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  6. Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to minimize risks during anesthesia procedures.
  7. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
  8. Provide support to anesthesiologists during emergency situations.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address any concerns or questions.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education in anesthesia procedures and equipment.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes.
  14. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Anesthesia Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Program In Anesthesia Technology And Hold A Valid Certification From The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).

  • Experience In Clinical Setting: Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Is Preferred. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With Medical Terminology, Equipment, And Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Anesthesia Equipment Such As Ventilators, Anesthesia Machines, And Monitoring Devices. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot And Maintain These Machines.

  • Attention To Detail: Anesthesia Technicians Are Responsible For Setting Up And Maintaining Equipment During Surgeries, Which Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Be Able To Follow Precise Instructions And Ensure All Equipment Is Working Properly.

  • Team Player: The Role Of An Anesthesia Technician Requires Collaboration With Other Healthcare Professionals Such As Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, And Nurses. The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment.
