  1. Respond to emergency calls and provide advanced life support care to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations.
  3. Administer medications, perform advanced medical procedures, and monitor patient vitals as necessary.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough patient care records.
  6. Comply with all regulations and protocols set by MedStar Health and local/state agencies.
  7. Continuously train and update skills to stay current with advancements in emergency medical care.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Paramedic Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Paramedic Certification From An Accredited Institution Or Program.

  • Current State Licensure: A Valid State License To Practice As A Paramedic Must Be Held By The Candidate, In Good Standing And Without Any Disciplinary Actions.

  • Acls And Pals Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals).

  • Minimum Experience: A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Paramedic In An Als Setting Is Required.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
