  1. Coordinate patient appointments: The Access Specialist will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner, while also taking into consideration any special requests or needs of the patient.
  2. Manage patient registration: The Access Specialist will oversee the registration process for patients, ensuring that all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Access Or Registration Role.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Patient Registration Software.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Or Sensitive Situations With Patients And Their Families.
