Access Specialist

The Access Specialist will provide support to both patients and staff by verifying insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments, resolving payment issues, and providing excellent customer service. To succeed in this role, the Access Specialist will need to possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a thorough knowledge of insurance policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Verify insurance eligibility for patients
2. Provide customer service and support to both patients and staff
3. Schedule appointments and resolve payment issues
4. Maintain accurate records and data
5. Answer inquiries from patients and staff regarding insurance, payments, and other related issues
6. Follow up with patients regarding their payment and insurance status
7. Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
8. Utilize various software systems to manage patient information and access records
9. Maintain a respectful and courteous demeanor in a fast-paced environment
10. Remain current on insurance regulations and policies
11. Assist with other tasks as needed
