
Supply Chain Manager
Updates, reviews and maintains MRP system data to ensure accurate forecasts, timely material purchase and deliveries, and adequate finished product inventories. Works with raw material vendors to ensure the lowest cost, stocking programs, annual budgeting, contract support escalations, negotiations, and contract adherence monitoring. Communicates frequently and effectively with all levels of the organization. Sets target levels of inventory to allow for efficient use of warehouse space while meeting production schedule and customer demand requirements. Prepares and presents future projections of finished product demand, inventory, volume and service planning and space considerations. Assures that the system parameters driving purchase orders are correct. Manages communications with all suppliers, domestic and import (via Medline Shanghai office).
At least 5 years manufacturing, distribution or purchasing experience
Experience demonstrating knowledge level of MRP, buying, demand management and forecasting
At least 2 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing and motivating and directing people as they work
