Job Description

Medline Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization through accurate and timely reporting and analysis.   1. Accurate and Timely Financial Reporting: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Financial Analysis and Forecasting: The Senior Accountant will utilize their strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve the organization's financial performance.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  4. Compliance and Audit: The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, as well as assist with internal and external audits.
  5. Process Improvement: The Senior Accountant will continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  6. Team Collaboration: The Senior Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  7. Mentorship and Training: The Senior Accountant may be responsible for mentoring and training junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  8. Financial Management: The Senior Accountant will assist in managing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
  9. Communication and Presentation: The Senior Accountant will effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders, including presenting reports and findings to senior management.
  10. Ad hoc Projects: The Senior Accountant may be assigned ad hoc projects related to financial analysis, process improvement, or other initiatives to support the organization's overall financial goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Related Field

  • Cpa Certification Or Advanced Degree In Accounting/Finance Preferred

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting Standards

  • Experience With Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Advanced Proficiency In Microsoft Excel
