Job Description

  1. Coordinate and manage the import/export process for Medline Industries, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods between countries.
  2. Stay up-to-date on import/export regulations and customs laws, and ensure compliance for all shipments.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all import/export activities, including documentation, invoices, and customs forms.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and purchasing, to ensure smooth and efficient import/export operations.
  5. Communicate with international suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or delays in the import/export process.
  6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in compliance with all regulations.
  7. Identify and address potential risks or challenges in the import/export process, and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities to improve import/export processes and procedures, and make recommendations for implementation.
  9. Serve as a key point of contact for all import/export related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Proactively monitor changes in trade laws and regulations, and ensure that all import/export activities are in compliance.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all import/export processes and documentation.
  13. Foster strong relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other external partners to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local and international laws and regulations, in all import/export activities.
  15. Continuously evaluate and optimize import/export processes to drive cost savings and improve overall efficiency.

Job Qualifications
