  1. Process and accurately record high volumes of invoices on a daily basis.
  2. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
  4. Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.
  5. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.
  6. Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Monitor and track accounts payable aging to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees.
  8. Review and process employee expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  9. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.
  10. Continuously improve accounts payable processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  12. Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting principles and regulations.
  13. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and achieve organizational goals.
  15. Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and ownership over assigned tasks and deliverables.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Practices: A Qualified Accounts Payable Representative At Medline Industries Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Be Able To Apply Them In Daily Tasks And Decision-Making.

  • Experience With Invoice Processing And Payment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Processing And Paying Invoices, Preferably In A High-Volume Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Invoice Coding, Matching, And Batching, As Well As Different Payment Methods Such As Check, Ach, And Wire Transfers.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: An Accounts Payable Representative Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Accurately Process Large Amounts Of Data. This Role Requires Careful Review Of Invoices, Purchase Orders, And Other Financial Documents To Ensure Accuracy And Prevent Errors.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Internal And External Stakeholders Is Crucial In This Role. An Accounts Payable Representative Should Also Be Highly Organized, Able To Prioritize Tasks, And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software And Microsoft Excel: Medline Industries May Require Candidates To Have Experience With Specific Accounting Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle. Proficiency In Microsoft Excel Is Also Essential For Data Entry, Analysis, And Reporting Purposes. Familiarity With Other Microsoft Office Programs, Such As Word And Outlook, Is Also Preferred.
