- Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential and existing vendors to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication and compliance with company standards.
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to vendor risk management and make recommendations for improvements to current processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor risk assessments are completed in a timely manner and any issues are addressed effectively.
- Monitor and track vendor performance to identify any potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate any changes in vendor risk assessments or compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to vendor risk assessments and compliance.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on best practices for vendor risk management.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of company policies and procedures related to vendor risk management.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of current vendor risk management processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address any concerns or issues related to risk management.
- Conduct regular vendor audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional and ethical manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vendor Risk Management, Preferably With A Consulting Or Financial Services Firm.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices Related To Vendor Risk Management.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Assess And Mitigate Potential Risks.
Strong Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
