Job Description

  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures for labor and employment compliance within the organization.
  2. Conduct regular trainings and audits to ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
  3. Provide guidance to employees and leadership on ethical and legal matters related to labor and employment.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of integrity and accountability.
  5. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to labor and employment and ensure compliance.
  6. Utilize a strong understanding of labor and employment law to advise on potential legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Manage and lead investigations into potential ethical violations or legal issues.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and compliance organizations.
  10. Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior leadership.
  11. Identify areas for improvement in compliance processes and policies and implement necessary changes.
  12. Regularly communicate and provide updates on compliance matters to employees and leadership.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
  14. Mentor and train junior team members on ethical and compliance practices.
  15. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws in all aspects of the organization's operations.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Understanding Of Labor And Employment Laws: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Labor And Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies At Both The Federal And State Levels. They Should Be Able To Apply This Knowledge To Develop And Implement Effective Compliance Programs For The Organization.

  • Experience In Managing Compliance Programs: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Compliance Programs, Preferably In A Corporate Setting. This Includes Developing Policies And Procedures, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Implementing Training Programs.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Effectively Communicate With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization And Lead A Team Of Compliance Professionals. They Should Possess Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Leadership Skills To Effectively Navigate Complex Compliance Issues.

  • Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information: The Senior Ethics And Compliance Manager Will Be Responsible For Handling Sensitive And Confidential Information Related To Labor And Employment Matters. They Should Have A High Level Of Discretion And Integrity In Managing This Information And Ensuring Compliance With Data Privacy Regulations.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Think Strategically And Anticipate Potential Compliance Risks And Issues. They Should Also Be Skilled In Problem-Solving And Have The Ability To Proactively Identify And Address Compliance Concerns. This Will Be Crucial In Developing And Implementing Effective Compliance Strategies For The Organization.
