1. Develop and lead the labor and employment compliance strategy for McKinsey & Company, in alignment with the firm's overall ethical standards and values.
2. Collaborate with senior leaders and teams across the organization to ensure compliance with all relevant labor and employment laws and regulations.
3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
4. Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations and proactively recommend updates to company policies and procedures.
5. Provide guidance and training to employees at all levels on ethical principles and compliance best practices.
6. Monitor and track compliance metrics, and report to senior leadership on the effectiveness of the compliance program.
7. Investigate and resolve any reported or suspected violations of ethical standards or compliance policies.
8. Partner with external legal counsel and other advisors as needed to address complex compliance matters.
9. Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure their professional development.
10. Represent the firm in external forums and industry events related to labor and employment compliance.
11. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of integrity and compliance throughout the organization.
12. Continuously assess and improve the firm's compliance program to ensure it meets industry standards and best practices.
13. Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Legal, to ensure a holistic approach to compliance across the organization.
14. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in and support for compliance initiatives.
15. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
