  1. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to promote ethical business practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and address any issues to maintain a high level of integrity within the organization.
  3. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to labor and employment law and advise leadership on any changes or updates that may impact the firm.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to employees and leadership on ethical and compliance matters.
  5. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all business processes and practices align with ethical standards and compliance requirements.
  6. Lead investigations into any reported violations of ethical standards or compliance issues, and develop appropriate remediation plans.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies to stay informed on industry best practices and potential compliance risks.
  8. Monitor and assess potential risks associated with new business ventures, partnerships, and clients to ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
  9. Provide training and support to employees on ethical standards and compliance requirements to promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
  10. Prepare and submit compliance reports to leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new compliance initiatives and programs.
  12. Act as a liaison between the firm and regulatory agencies during audits and investigations.
  13. Keep accurate records and documentation of all compliance activities and initiatives.
  14. Stay informed on emerging compliance trends and recommend proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.
  15. Represent the firm in external meetings and conferences related to ethics and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Labor And Employment Laws: A Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager At Mckinsey & Company Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Labor And Employment. This Includes Laws Governing Discrimination, Harassment, Wage And Hour Regulations, And Employee Leave.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Compliance Issues To A Wide Range Of Stakeholders, Including Employees, Leadership, And External Partners. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Compliance Programs: The Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Compliance Programs In A Corporate Setting. This Includes Creating Policies And Procedures, Conducting Training And Audits, And Monitoring For Compliance.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: In Addition To Managing Day-To-Day Compliance Issues, The Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager Must Also Be Able To Think Strategically And Identify Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities. They Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Develop Proactive Solutions To Mitigate Compliance Risks.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Compliance Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have Experience In Managing And Developing A Team, Setting Goals And Expectations, And Providing Mentorship And Guidance To Team Members.
