1. Develop and implement effective compliance programs to ensure adherence to all labor and employment laws and regulations.
2. Serve as the subject matter expert on all labor and employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on any changes and communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to address them.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including HR and legal, to ensure that policies and procedures are in line with ethical and legal standards.
5. Lead training and education initiatives to raise awareness of labor and employment compliance policies and procedures.
6. Investigate and respond to any reports of non-compliance or ethical concerns, ensuring swift and appropriate action is taken.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies or industry associations, to stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
8. Monitor and report on compliance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of the firm's ethics and compliance initiatives.
9. Act as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
10. Mentor and develop junior team members to support their growth and development in the field of ethics and compliance.
